NCI, in collaboration with key industry partners, provides a comprehensive suite of solutions for automated and remote copper loop testing. These test probes and access solutions help assure the quality and performance characteristics of the critical last mile physical connection linking customers to their serving central office.

NCI’s product line continues to evolve, adding features and capabilities to its high-quality product offerings, to better meet the copper-loop testing needs of operating companies for their existing and emerging services. NCI’s product suite is fully compliant with accepted industry standards for test measurement and access. The suite provides full interoperability with most of the widely deployed Operations Support Systems (OSS) and testing related infrastructures found in a typical Telco environments. The main products currently offered by NCI consist of the following:

NCI-465 DSL Test Set: 30 MHz Copper and VDSL2 Triple-Play handheld tester.

NCI-400 WMU (Wideband Measurement Unit) Test Head: Full featured Wideband Measurement Unit for Central Office applications address Test and Measurement on all Services within a Telco operations.

NCI-450 WMU (Wideband Measurement Unit) Test Head: Full featured Wideband Measurement Unit for Remote DLC/MSAN applications addressing Test and Measurement on all Services within a Telco operations.

In-Line TAM (Test-Access Matrix) Module Family: Provides a scalable metallic test-access matrix which enables test heads to remotely connect to copper access loops. The In-Line TAM modular solution can be incrementally expanded to support connectivity from 24 through 55,296 lines as the customer’s needs grow. The members of this product family include:

xDSL-RID: Provides remote isolation and line diagnostic capabilities at the customer premises. It enables Telcos to determine whether faults in access loops are in the network side or the customer side, without a dispatch.

Test System Controller: The NCI TSC (Test System Controller) is a comprehensive copper loop management system which provides service providers with all of the functions and tools necessary to test and monitor the quality of copper loops from a remote location.
